Requiem for a Dream

"Requiem for a Dream" is a story about dreams, hope, and the human desire to be seen.

“Requiem for a Dream,” based on Hubert Selby Jr.’s novel, will debut on the big stage of Rakvere Theatre in Estonia on September 20, 2024.

“Requiem for a Dream” is a story about dreams, hope, and the human desire to be seen. Sara Goldfarb receives a phone call offering her a chance to appear on television, a moment that transforms her life and brings her newfound visibility in her community. Meanwhile, her son Harry, along with his friend Tyrone, starts a business with the dream of using their profits to achieve their true goals. The story underscores that as long as dreams persist, there is hope, and with hope, there is a reason to live.
